2006 ... A magical year,
What were thinking coming out here?
Just a college girl with curly red hair
And just like that paired with Mark da Bear
Your year as a counselor you made a pact,
"I know I just have to make it back"
In 2007 you were an AD
With Jailee, Jordan, Lassie, and Lori
Life administering medications at camp
Running around early and getting no nap!
Following that summer a special trip to the Outer Banks
A great trip! With your friends Janine and Sara to thank
Would you make it back for 2008?
Oh yes! and wasn't that great?
Breakfast burritos on weekends and resting with us four
Secrets, tattoos, and campers galore!
2009, an initial surprise, Lesley was coming back!
Oh shit, Glandular Fever caused some awful attack.
No Lesley this summer, very sad.
But it made getting back to camp something she wanted real real bad.
In 2010 the wait began
The US visa process - (I am not a fan)
Now she's here full time in 2011
I see her all the time, thank heaven!
I have to be honest I was getting pretty sick
of missing that Scottish lady, ick!
But I know this means that there is a another bunch
that is missing her just as much!
So happy birthday Lesley I hope it's good
You know, I am so very lucky to be your friend and you're so lucky to eat my food.
(I had to rhyme good and food) :)
